Parent Product Thumbnail in minicart/checkout

In Sales => Checkout => Shopping Cart 

I have set "Grouped Product Image" to "Parent product thumbnail"

This works fine in the cart page.

But in the minicart and checkout its trying to display the simple item thumbnail instead of parent, is there a configuration I have missed?

Which version of Magento are you using?

Did you tried with Luma theme or you have a custom theme?

Could you please clear cache using command line,
Just run command,
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
php bin/magento cache:flush
Clear browser cache.
