Redirect to the homepage

Hello, 

We are moving our website to a new domain. We successfully imported the 301 redirects in the “core_url_rewrite”  database. All pages / categories, etc are redirected to the new site except... the homepage. Can anyone help us redirecting the homepage?

Can you please check apache mode rewrite enabled or not.

If not then enabled it.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure if I understand your solution. 

All the redirects are working except the homepage. 

www.siteA.com/subpage --> redirects to www.siteB.com/subpage (This redirect works)

www.siteA.com --> does not redirect to www.siteB.com. So homepage is not redirecting. 

Based on the redicting of the subpages I assume the apache mode rewrite is enabled. I don't understand how to redirect the homepage...
