Store views not showing up add product page.

Hi. 

i have single store with two views { english french } . on add product page , in Product on websites section  only Main website is showing up . no English and French view . what am i doing wrong ? 1.9.x used to be much easer to setup . 

also . Do i really need cron job on my local computer configure and setting up magento before upload to the host ?

Please do make sure you've assigned products to your respected stores.

Catalog >> Manage Categories  And switch to your respected store view and check if products assign to category you want as per store view. If not then assign and clear  cache, reindex and see what happen...
