Where is the template for the Newsletter confirmation E-mail?

Hello forum members,

Please could you kindly help with the following:

Where is the template for the Newsletter confirmation E-mail?

This is the e-mail a subscriber receives, with a link there to confirm their subscription.

The only templates that I can see in the backend are those for sending out the actual newsletters.

To add, the link seems to be generated automatically by Magento, and upon clicking this takes the subscriber to the website.

Hey,

you should be able to find it under "Marketing -> Communications -> Email Templates".

Then there you create a new template, then on the template selector at the top section you select subscription confirmation (see Screenshot attached) and load the template. 

Then there you should be able to edit the newsletter confirmation template.
