I think I will try to post on here more to help people out, I have over 4 years of experience with Magento 2 community-edition. 4-year badge on here. I see a lot of people talk about speed issues on here. My first choice is to go with a dedicated server with no panel on it. I use Apache, MariaDB, Redis, and Magento php to fine-tune everything. My whole installation process is all scripted now.

Running Magento 2 on a dedicated server without a control panel is definitely a solid choice if you have the expertise, since panels often add extra overhead and processes you don’t really need. Using Apache paired with MariaDB and Redis is also a strong stack; MariaDB typically performs a bit better under Magento’s workload than standard MySQL, and Redis makes a big difference for session storage and caching.
