I am hoping to work out a replacement for Shopify for my wholesale store ... my main consideration is I need the site to allow for quite a few permutations of variations.
For example I guess it would be a grouping item or so that would have the variation SKUs selected by the values of the various selections and load that
For example Say Ring Sizes
4.00 - > 10.00 in 0.25 increments = 25 variations there
Say 9 -11 metal selections = say 10 variations
Say 10 stone quality combinations
so thats 2,500 variations per design (and some could be more but more so I want whatever permutations I want to sell out of that to be active)
so for example maybe 800 or so would be active
what would be the best way to set up my items for this variation and product wise ... so each intended permutation has an orderable SKU with a price that I can update as I need to based on their own component prices.
I know this is a pretty heavy ask.
