REST API Category creation very slow

Hello,

I upload with the API all data. I´m just at the beginning ... but each API command needs around 5 seconds.

Delete, Post and Put

Is this because my Magento 2 is still in developer mode?

Or where could be the problem?

Try changing into production mode and see if it improves.

If it is still as slow, it may be a server related issue.

I activeded the cache and now its ok!

I got the same issue with product API. Did you enable magento cache or something else?

@hanhoe Could you pls explain what kind of cache you are enabling? I am using CENTOS.
