Hello, I am using magento 2.2 with Porto theme, layered navigation is enabled by default. in case i disable it and use mangeto default filter, i noticed that the filter is not taking the category into consideration. so the product view result is not showing the right product when i click a category from the left sidebar, it stays the same , but whenever i add brand, or color to the filter, it works fine. please note that the parent categories and the sub categories anchor is set to yes, i cleared the cache, did the reindex and everything, but still does not work.
now in case I enable layered navigation (the mageplaza extension), when i click a category it starts filtering instantly using Ajax, however once the page does a full reload (click next page in pagination or any http request) the breadcrumbs updates to the right order, but the products are not relevant to the filter anymore. (and i also do not get the "now shopping by ...")
