Luma Theme - size not sorting properly in dropdown men

Hello,

I'm in the middle of a M1 to M2 migration, and developing a fairly basic site, with very minimal customizations to the Luma theme. I am using Magento 2.4.

The shoe sizes in the dropdown menu are not sorting. How can I fix that? Is that a theme problem or a Magento setting that I missed?

My M1 site sorts these shoe sizes perfectly, and I cannot figure out how its working.
