Override a JS

I need to override this file

   -  vendor/magento/module-catalog/view/base/web/js/price-utils.js

But honestly speaking, i had read a lot on the internet even the official documentation and it does not work.

Since its a LUMA based file, and the LUMA directory does not exist, how do i proceed?

Please, i am not asking for a full manual, i will be very happy just to point me in the right direction
