Save a Page Builder Design for use elsewhere?

Hello,

Looking for a way to save a Page Builder design, and then re-use it like as a template.  I've see this functionality in the Bluefoot M1 extension.  Does it exist in M2 or is it coming soon?  If not, any work around suggestions or custom module guidance?
