Search box to show on click at Desktop Size

Hi,

I am new to Magento and so far have just set up a custom theme based on Magento Blank. This is Magento Blank http://magento2-demo.nexcess.net/

I would like the search box to show full width when the icon is clicked at all screen sizes as it does at mobile level. What change would I need to make for this to not change to a visible box at large screen sizes but without effecting the menu etc. The plan for the desktop view is for the header to work similar to https://www.moonpig.com/uk/

I have worked this out now.

Remove the desktop styles in:

Magento_CatalogSearch/web/css/source/_module.less

[stefan_stefan1]

This is not a solution, it's a hack.
