Show product attribute in Ordered Products Report

Hi,

Is it possible to show product attributes in the Ordered Products Report?

I would like the report to show how many products of each "type" were ordered. The report shows the SKU, so you can see the attributes buried in the SKU, but it is not easy to read. For example, the SKU might be "shirt-size5-red". Ideally I would like the report to show an additional column for each attribute the product has, such as a column for the shirt size and shirt color.

I am using Community Edition 2.2.5.

@steve_jeffreyThis does not come out of the box in Magento. However, what you are looking for is definitely possible. To achieve the same you need to make some customization.

Personally I would avoid any customization until it is really really required or I know how to code right way. If you'll not follow the right approach you may end up affecting the performance of your store.
