Admin -> Content -> Pages displays an error

There is an error message on top of the page, and no pages are shown.

Do you have any suggestions?

Please check your var/log folder check for system.log file any error will be displayed?

When I did static:deploy the page was fixed.

I will look at the log file next time. Thanks.
