Change Date of Birth (dob) datepicker to custom inputs/select box

Hi guys,

 

Iam very disappointed about the date of birth datepicker.

First of all, you can choose dates in the future. In addition the datapicker is not recommendable for mobile usage.

 

So, I want to change the current input incl. datapicker to three inputs without datepicker (DD,MM,YYYY) or to three select boxes.

 

Does someone has a solution for this?

See how is the «Date of Birth» calendar implemented on the frontend «Edit Account Information» page: https://mage2.pro/t/1044

 

So, for example, you can set your own template instead of the standard widget/dob.phtml.
