Create different navigation menus for different pages

Hi,

I am using magento 2.0.2.

I wanted to have different navigation menus for different pages in the same website. Ex. If I am on the home page, i should have the root categories as my navigation. As I go into a category page, I should have the subcategories of that category as my navigation menu. Hope i made myself clear. Please provide me with a solution.

Hi shrutikaghosh,

No solution to my problem as yet, I just created two different sites with different menus but same theme. I know this is not the solution to the problem but i cant help it.
