Custom inline edit grid in magento backend

Hi, I would like to create a custom page on Magento 2 backend with a inline edit grid based on my table added on magento db.
I can't find an example (a tutorial) for doing  that configuration (I found only examples for create a normal grid that can't edit inline).
Someone could help me please?

Ok thanks.. it's a possible solution even if I think it's not the easiest way to starting learning magento (look into magento code and configuration files).. someone uses code to add and configure columns instead of an XML configuration file..
my hope was to find a basic example to start learning grid: I will try again to search, then finally look into magento project.
