Ok. I have been looking for a way to FULLY customize my front end. But since the file structure is different for magento 2.2.0, 99% of the tutorials are now useless.
I checked the magento default theme. The HTML code is not in the theme folder, so how I am supposed to change it?
The final and great question is: Is there somewhere an UP TO DATE tutorial about how to FULLY customize your magento front end?
Please, don't tell me to check Magento documentation, it's even more ridiculous than Unity's...
Thank you.
Hi @Florianca,
If you've installed using composer, you'll find the original Luma files in:
vendor/magento/theme-frontend-luma
Thank you for this fast reply.
As already said, I have already had a look at this files. And as a beginner with Magento, it looks like a mess. There is no explanation, nowhere. Explanations are what I am looking for, not a bunch of files.
Well if you want to start to understand/learn Magento frontend themes maybe you can start here:
http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.1/frontend-dev-guide/themes/theme-create.html
It won't be easy at the begining but you can start with a basic custom theme.
Also, if you need to understand the basics this book will help you too: https://www.amazon.com/Magento-Theme-Assets-Getting-Stuff-ebook/dp/B01COQPQG0/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=...
