How we use ko template: getTemplate() in controller?

Hi,
As i use ko template: getTemplate() in phtml file it work fine but when i try same in controller it not works can someone help how we can use in controller.

am i not looking for calling phtml files as i want to call select.html in controller which is inside the web/template of module.
