One of my clients have a Magento 2 store. I have made an app for them which programmatically places an order in the store using the Admin API (the data comes from other sources).
Now we are facing a weird situation. The customer is placing an order from the store frontend by adding items to the cart.
Meanwhile, a request comes to my app, which creates a new cart, attaches the customer (sometimes the same customer who is placing an order on the store) and places an order using the Admin API.
What happens is the frontend cart gets empty.
Is there any way to keep both orders/cart separate for the same customer? Or is there a way to combine both orders?
