Hi, I am still trying to adapt to magento2, I hate it so far, everything is just soooo difficult.
That being said, I haven't thrown in the towel just yet, and am trying to enable modules, and found the documentation:

however I cannot seem to get this to work by following directions, I also find it really hard to believe the ONLY way to enable a module is with a shell command?
is there another way to accomplish this without having shell/SSH knowledge?
