Product attributes and category issue Magento

Hi,

I have a magento website with lot of products in it.

I have 2 issues.

First Issue: 

I have assigned categories to these products. Assume that categories are x and y. The product is only getting displayed in one category. i.e., while choosing x I can see all products in that category and while choosing y, even though I have assigned products to y, nothing is getting displayed. 

Second Issue:

Product also have attributes. While choosing the attributes too, products are not getting displayed.

Try to make the reindex in CLI 

php bin/magento indexer:reindex

Thanks for the reply. but I have tried reindexing, still no luck

On the category itself in the admin section does it say the number of products assigned to the category? It could be the display settings, if its set to static block the products won't show. It could also be an issue with inventory settings, do you have qty>0?
