Replace or attach invoice pdf by api ?

Hello,

 

I need to send PDF invoice to Magento, I have the impression that Magento generates the pdf on the fly. Do you have any idea how I can send my PDF invoices to Magento.

The attachments resource for a payable invoice is used to manage attachments that the user has attached to the invoice header.
