Show Payment method on order view

I have created a custom payment method that customer can choose that after order

but after order is placed and the payment was unsuccessful there is no payment button on the sales/order/view/order_id/104

How to add the ability to this order_id view page so that if the payment was unsuccessful by adding the payment button the person could be able to pay the order invoice

I know that there are two options one is in the theme and the other is overriding the module

is there any other better way than those

I found the best solution

in case there is an extension which will add some additional functionality it requires to override the view/layout files which in this case is sales_order_view
