What translationmodule in the localization csv is used for e-mailtemplates?

Hi all,

I'm in the final tasks with translating my e-mail templates. The only thing I can't get my head around is this part. It keeps on placing a T: before the phone number instead of Tel: and it keeps saying VAT: instead of the respective translation (e.g. BTWSmiley Happy. I just can't find which module is called for in the translation files, so I can add the respective translations. See below example on what is meant. Any thoughts on this?

Netherlands
T: 12345

VAT: 12345

Thanks!

Re: What translationmodule in the localization csv is used for e-mailtemplates?

This does not need any translation file or csv, Magento uses the template type for the address format ( Text, Text One Line, HTML, PDF).

You can change/ update the formate and order of content via admin panel.

  1. On the Admin sidebar, go to Stores > Settings > Configuration.

  2. In the left panel, expand Customers and choose Customer Configuration.

  3. Address Templates

The section includes a separate set of formatting instructions for each of the following:

    • Text
    • Text One Line
    • HTML
    • PDF
  4. Edit each template as needed, using the examples for reference.

  5. When complete, click Save Config

Email uses the html type for the address formate so you need to update the content in adm.
