build a "support download" web page

Hi,

I'd like to add a section in magento shop where the visitors can download the drivers of products bought from my shop. I was thinking on something like a page with a search bar, where they will search for the driver by code or model and it will display a link to download the drivers.

any idea on how to do this? or if it is possible?

maybe use virtual products with 0 price. Create category for drivers and show them there and also in search. + you can use related products functionalty to show driver product in real product page.
