504 Gateway Timeout Error

Hi,

I am experiencing a 504 gateway error exclusively whenever a customer is attempting to create an account on the website, I do not see this error when a customer attempts to sign into the site or anywhere else. 

The process appears to complete as they receive the confirmation email and they appear in the customer grid in the back end but the front end displays the error message, any ideas what could be causing me this issue?

Hi @EDIT ,

Have you customized anything in registration form? Or added any extension? Also, check once the exception log and let us know what error is there. According to that we can find the resolution.

Thank you for your response.

The only customisation that I have done is add in the Google reCaptcha v2 module but I have disabled this module and the problem still persists, I have had a look in the expection log and the only error I see related to this is:
