Admin links not working after switch to production mode

Hello all.

I am trying to upgrade my site to 2.4.4. All is fine until I switch to production mode. Certain admin links no longer work. I can't click on them or save any configuration changes. For example: When I select Stores>Configuration>Sales>Delivery Methods. I can access it but when I try to save any changes - nothing happens. After this, if I click on any link on the menu nothing works. If I click on a link from the menu at the far left (gray area) the links on the main menu will start working again - just not certain ones. When I place the store back into development mode all works fine. As far as I have seen there are no other errors this is the only issue. 

*Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Follow the below steps in order to do so:

Replace the tab.js file with collapse.js file at the location: lib/web/jquery/bootstrap/

Thank you so much!!!!!! I have been trying to figure this out for the past week. I even scrapped my whole site & started over from scratch - only to end up with the same problem. I tried every solution that I could find & nothing worked. I am so grateful - thank you for taking the time to help. I can finally get a little sleep.
