All Magento 2.3.4 admin pages with a grid won't load. Just "spin out'. Dashboard & Config load.

Hi,

I've been dealing with an issue with @Landofcoder theme and their MegaMenu. AVOID VES OR LAND OF CODER IF YOU WANT GOOD SUPPORT. It's been a nightmare going on 3+ weeks now.

That said, I've finally got it to the place that the front end is working after a litany of issues with MegaMenu. Now, I've got an issue after installing their latest MegaMenu that all of my my Admin pages with a grid, i.e. Products, Customers, Categories and Venustheme>Manage Menus, won't load. They just spin and spin.

App, pub, and var permissions are set to 755. When I ran the following commands during after uploading and overwriting the app and pub files from the new MegaMenu, there we no issues:

php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f

I really don't know what the heck. I haven't deleted the session or static folders. If that is it, I'd appreciate the proper commands for that.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Kory

Re: All Magento 2.3.4 admin pages with a grid won't load. Just "spin out'. Dashboard & Conf

SOLVED. This was a weird one.

I thought it was maybe Magento cache. So cleared that last night. Didn't work so that's when I posted in the Magento forum and put a ticket in with @Landofcoder They got back to me and told me to clear my browser cache, which I felt like a jackass for not trying. It was getting late and frustration was pretty high b/c no critical errors anywhere, etc.

That initially didn't work, even after computer restart. So, I tried in Chrome, not Firefox. I had never used the admin in Chrome, so no cache to worry about. It worked. So, went back to Firefox and tried again. It worked. No freaking clue!

But, the final answer to this was VES/Land of Coder gave me the wrong version of MegaMenu to install in the first place. That led to this post https://community.magento.com/t5/Magento-2-x-Technical-Issues/Issue-with-missing-table-after-upgradi..., which @Nishu Jindal was incredibly helpful with.

3 weeks later, and lots of lazy, one sentence, support answers they gave me the correct version finally. So frustrating.

All seems to work now so there is a happy ending afterall.

Thank so much for all your help @Nishu Jindal You've been great!
