Hello,
I'm trying to apply a free shipping coupon - and whenever one applies the coupon in the checkout page it does NOT remove the shipping from the tally.
If they then leave the page, "re-check out" then the free shipping option appears.
I would think the expected behavior is that once the coupon is applied, the shipping is removed from the the tally but that doesn't appear to be the case.
I've seen multiple posts around this issue and there have been bugs around it - but it seems to be going on still with latest Magento2.
Can anyone confirm I am not going insane and that it's not just me?
The scenario is as follows:
1. Coupon rule set to 40% off for various products - as well as free shipping.
2. Customer adds items to cart, goes to check out page, only able to select the paid shipping options (because coupon isn't applied yet)
3. Gets to check out page, applies coupon, 40% is taken off, BUT - shipping remains.
4. If he gets out of the page, goes to check out again, then looks at shipping options then free shipping appears.
Expected behavior (I would imagine) is that at stage 3 the shipping would be removed and the 40% would be applied.
Thoughts?
