Can't access the web setup wizard after manual upgrade

I had issues completing an upgrade using the web setup wizard so I manually upgraded. Once I was done I tried to access the web setup wizard to install some extensions. Whenever I do it says "update is already in progress". What do I do?

This is frustrating as the site is scheduled for production this week but can't be completed since I can't install needed extensions. Looking online I haven't been able to find anything that would help.

@mykkalYou should be able to install extension. Extension provider would provide you with the installation instruction with the zipped code. You need to place the same in right folder.

For the setup wizard try updating your composer and see if that works. There can be tons of different reason for setup wizard is not working. However, you can deal with it later as well I guess.
