Cannot find braintree module in Magento 2.4

Hi community,

I am upgrading a site from Magento 2.3.3 to 2.4.3.

However, Braintree seems to totally disappear in Magento 2.4 and above.

I read in Adoble documentation that Braintree module is integrated to core, but cannot find it in the core code in Magento repository at https://github.com/magento/magento2/tree/2.4

Nor braintree is declared in any composer file.

Am I missing something?

Hi Sanjay,

How can you have that 2 braintree modules under Paypal? That's what I'd like to have.

I checked out the 2.4.4 tag here on Github, then run composer update but I can't see any braintree modules under paypal vendor.

I have same problem, code exist inside vendor but there isn't way to activate it
