Customers on our website have been complaining that order confirmation and tracking number confirmation emails are not working properly. They're using PayPal as a payment method and we tested this out and confirmed that no notification emails are going through after otherwise successful purchases. Other similar sales features like invoices are also not working.
Our version is 1.9.0.1.
Please advice what we can do on our end to fix this soon.

Thank you for the link. However, in our case we can still send and receive test emails using the email connected to our shop on both the front and backend. What's not working is the automatic confirmation emails from PayPal whenever someone makes a purchase. Even if the transactions are successful, the customers don't receive emails confirming their purchase.
