Custom option missing in order / invoice

Hello, we have a Magento 2.2.6. On the last 500 orders of the last 2 weeks we have around 6 orders who the custom options (color and size) are missing in the invoice and admin/orders.

The products shows correctly in the frontend and also in product / custom options in the admin.

On those 6 orders 5 has been ordered with a custom account.

Fields for color and size are required.

How those custom options could be missing only for some orders? Someone already had this problem or could explain me how the custom option are transfered to the order?

Hello @oktanedesign 

seems like custom options edited after do add to cart or add new one after do add to cart.

If my solution is useful then mark as solution
