Error: Something went wrong while saving the category- Magento ver. 2.1.0

Hello

In Magento ver. 2.1.0 we are having an issue where you upload a banner in Category > Content > Category Image when you upload an image then save the Catagory an error is shown:

Something went wrong while saving the category.

I have ran an setup:di:compile, index and cache:flush. I have also rm -rf var/cache, rm -rf var/page-cache rm -rf var/generation. 

Its still not helped. Any ideas on how to solve the issue?

Check your var/system.log and var/exception.log. Paste here what you get there after pressing save on category.
