Help! Problem checking out

I have a major issue right now.  Customers are trying to checkout and my authorize.net CIM module is getting hit with credit card transaction, but the order is not getting created in the Magento storefront.  I'm getting the following errors:

From system.log:

[2021-09-03 17:45:47] main.CRITICAL: Saving order 000001008 failed: Unique constraint violation found [] []
[2021-09-03 17:45:48] main.CRITICAL: Placing an order with quote_id 101099 is failed: Unique constraint violation found [] []

This is very bad, as customer just keep trying over and over and it's sending CC transactions to authorize.net.  I don't know what happened, or how to even tell what tables, and or columns are out of whack.

Hello @mattisjd,

please cross the order id once, I think the order id is already used and it's trying to save the same order id for new orders.
