Import Error - Maximum Error Count or System Error

Hi everyone,

We are experiencing an issue when we import stock on Magento 2. In the past it has been working fine but it now won't let us upload stock as it displays the following error message:

"Maximum error count has been reached or system error has occurred!"

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,

Interesting error that I have not seen before.

Few questions that might make it easier to troubleshoot:

1) What version of Magento

2) How exactly are you importing stock
3) Anything unusual or different about the stock you are importing?

Re: Import Error - Maximum Error Count or System Error

Thank you for your response.

It is 2.3.4-p2

We add stock by going System - Import, then click Products, Add/Update, Skip errors, and add the CSV File which contains Product code and Qty, then check data and then import.

We haven't changed anything with the CSV file or the way that we upload it.

Many thanks,

Re: Import Error - Maximum Error Count or System Error

How many products are in the CSV file?

If the CSV file only has one product in it, then it would be a matter of digging into logfiles, to look for errors.

Else I would try to split the CSV file in half, to see if it is related to a single product or the number of items.

Re: Import Error - Maximum Error Count or System Error

There are 4000+ Products in the file. We have tried it with just 1 product and the same message is still occurring.

Re: Import Error - Maximum Error Count or System Error

Great, so if it still gives an error with just 1 product in the CSV then it is either a problem with your Magento install or in the CSV format.
If you can share a sample 1 line CSV, then I can try it on my demo server?
