Is this malware?

Hey fellow developers,

We have been noticing some strange entries in our console likeScreenshot 2023-04-27 114707.png for our live shop isolicht.com and our dev shop develop.isolicht.com. We're concerned that this may be a malware attack. However, we've had an external company scan our live site and they have told us that everything is fine and there are no issues.

Despite this, we're still seeing some suspicious activity in our console and we're not sure what to make of it. We're wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and if they can shed some light on whether or not this is a malware attack.

If you have any advice or suggestions on what we should do next, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Re: Is this malware?

Hello,

It's concerning to hear about the strange console entries in your live and dev shops, and I appreciate your vigilance in addressing potential security issues. Even though external scans have reported no issues, it's always wise to investigate further. To gain more clarity, you might want to check your server logs for any unusual activity and conduct a thorough review of your website's codebase, including third-party plugins and extensions. Additionally, consider implementing security best practices such as regular updates, strong password policies, and monitoring for file changes. Engaging with your hosting provider's support team or seeking assistance from a security expert might provide valuable insights. Collaborating with the community on forums or security-focused platforms can also offer diverse perspectives and potential solutions. Stay proactive and ensure that your security measures are robust to safeguard your websites.
