Did you find any solution to this? I am also facing this issue with Cybersource but its very random and unable to reproduce it. Please let me know if you found any solution to this.

I am having the this issue too. 

In my case paypal and bank transfer works. Only eWay, zipPay, afterPay doesn't take to success page. 

Magento 2.3.3, FPC enabled, Redis and session is saved in db.

Any suggestions?

Try to save session to Redis or Files it will help.
