Lost my web page..how do I get it back

I tried to update and now all I get is Error 503..unavailable . The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. I am not an IT person and they person that set up my acct. is no longer available. I am the administrator of the page. Help please...I am still in the older version of Magento

Hello @leslie_tatman,

Please check in magento root directory, Is there any maintenance file, If it is then delete it and let me know.

I’m sorry but I use an IPad...and I really don’t know how to do any of this. All I know is I don’t have a web page or store front anymore and my phone is ringing off the hook.. my customers can’t see my page either. Can someone please help me ASAP.

I sent messages but. O reply. I work off an iPad and as I stated..I am. It computer literate. I can not get into a root directory. I need ASAP as I am losing orders and customers.. can anyone HELP ME PLEASE.
