Magento2 Transaction email taking time to send or sometime not receiving any email

I have using Magento 2.1.8 and when order placed, order confirmation email taking time to receive or sometimes not received. also another email like shipment invoice email are also taking the time or not received.

I have set cron as per described in the document to run every min.

Anyone help to fix the issue.

Did you found some error on cron table or Magento's logs?

No i am not getting any error

@hemendraadvThis may or May not be Magento issue. Are you using 3rd party SMTP or your localhost? There may be a delay at the server level which you can confirm from your hosting provider.

Did you try sending an email using a script on the server. If there is a delay then definitely an issue at server level.
