When i add first product it directs me to the cart checkout page, which i have already disbaled from the admin panel. The major problem is when i go back to the home page it shows 0 in minicart, the cart is not at all working properly

Can you check if the problem is still present if you use the Luma theme?
Maybe is a problem of caching with a custom theme?
