We seem to be having a lot of spam coming from the newsletter registration still. Thing is we have disabled that all together. Went into the app/ect/config.php file and set it from 1 to 0 and so on and so forth. No where on the front end of our store can you even access the "newsletter subscription" form.

Has anyone else had this problem? Honestly I would just like to take the whole thing out of the core files but I don't trust myself that much to just start going into the back-end and deleting things. Any help on this would be amazing. Thank you!
