No transaction emails are sent after the order
Hi,
Seems that our Magento 2 does not send the transaction emails - i.e. new order / invoice - when order status is processing (which is changed to Compeleted manually, upon preparation). I am looking to change that so that the customer receives new order email straight after making an order on the website regardless the back-end status of his order.

Hello @ksenia_lai
You can check from backend if email sending is enabled or not . For this please go to:
Stores ->Configuration -> Sales -> Sales email -> Order
You can check if it is enabled and also you can change the order confirmation email template

I have checked the below and looks like everything is enabled. Can it be that new order status kicks in only when the order status is "complete"?
If yes, how can I add an additional email to be sent from "new invoice" template once the order is finalised online, even if its status if "processing" (either because it is in preparation or because the Payment gateway has not released it yet?)
