Please Wait Message When Savings Products

I'm having issues with saving products.  With basic text they save fine, when I add bullet points in the item description, I get stuck on "Please wait".  I used the Chrome console and got the following error:

Any help you can provide to resolve this error would be appreciated.

May be you have some custom extensions or theme installed?

I've installed a Magento 2 Porto theme.  Everything else is stock.
