On Magento 2.2.7, using the Porto theme.
Issue is that on the home page with the Category List widget configured, as well as all product pages and category pages, the footer is missing. Footer appears on contact us and login pages.
Secondarily, the product widget and all of the categories are not showing any products. The categories actually say there are no products in the category.
Reviewing the backend configurations, there are in fact products configured in each category, products are in stock and enabled.
The footer HTML is completely gone, not in some sort of poorly formatted HTML element.
There are no layout updates in any of the products or categories to remove the footer or any content on the page.
There are no errors in var/log/exception, and nothing related to products or cms page configurations in var/log/system.
There are no errors in browser dev tools.
Removing the products widget on the CMS home page still leaves the footer missing.
If I manually enter the URL for a product, I can see the product detail page but there is no footer.
We also tried disabling all products and the footer is still missing.
We are at a loss what caused this.
So to sum up, two issues:
- Footer missing on pages with products. Footer appears on contact us and login pages.
- Products not displaying and categories appearing to be empty even though configurations say otherwise.
