SKU codes in front-end search not displaying items

Hello!

Running on Magento 2 EE over here!

Im working on a website which has a large inventory of products. Each product is related to SKU code found in the description. When I search an item with SKU code, Magento search doesnt seem to know how to process the info.. the search results have nothing to do with original search OR only shows a few items when there are supposed to be many.

Anyone know if theres a bug or an update coming soon regarding this matter?

Hello @nastassja_bertrand,

You can find by SKU which is mentioned in SKU field in admin side then you can easily find out in search result, Please check below example

Thanks for the info

We already have our visibility set to Catalog Search.. we are still encountering issues even with a partial SKU without hyphen.. If I enter `GWA` I get no results... If I enter 5121 I get partial results with some items that have nothing to do with that value..

Anyone have a miracle??

Also If I try Elasticsearch or Solr I get this error message:

Hello @nastassja_bertrand,

If you are using search extension then disable it and try to check in magento default theme and let us know.
