Set up Magento 2 to send mail to customer and administrator

Hi,

I have a Bitnami solution of Magento 2 on Google cloud compute engine. I don't now how configure magento 2 to send email to the customer and to the store manager when you are creating a new order, when you send the order, etc.
Can you help me?

@bonna92 Same issue here. When placing test orders we are not receiving any customer or store emails. 

 

Our email is on Google Apps ending in @domainname.com, and I've set the setting in Google Apps to handle external email sending. However, still not working.

 

When I click into an order to Send Email, it says an email was sent to customer but the test customer email has not received any email.
