Theme changes not effective

Hi,

I tried to install  a new theme and new them became visible in themes lists in admin> design configuration.

When theme is changed to new one and [save configuration] button is clicked, without any error message it shows success message "You saved the configuration." .

But active theme remains as same default 'Luma' theme. I even tried it with 'Magento blank' theme, always success message showmn, but active theme remains the 'Luma' theme.

Can anyone please guide me to overcome this issue.

Please run all Magento CLI commands and flush the cache from cloudflare if extra cache set up is there in your store
