Why is there a "/default/" inserted in my URL address?

SOLVED

Why is there a "/default/" inserted in my URL address?

Why is this "default" showing in my URL?

My magento 2 folder is public_html, but look what i get on every link

http://magento-29936-64766-177722.cloudwaysapps.com/default/gear/bags.html

http://magento-29936-64766-177722.cloudwaysapps.com/default/women/tops-women/hoodies-and-sweatshirts-women.html

The same goes with all my store links.

I would really apreciate sugestions or a fix for this Smiley Happy

Hi @tgsergiu,

Are you using the store codes in the URL?

Re: Why is there a "/default/" inserted in my URL address?

Hi @Damian Culotta

I do use store codes in the URL.

I then selected No (to store codes URL) and after a browser cache clearance is OK.

Thank you very much! Smiley Happy
